When bulk research peptides make sense
Bulk research peptides aren’t for everyone. If you only need one vial for a quick test, a single vial is the sensible buy. Packs pay off when you know you’ll use the same compound for weeks or months.
Bulk packs suit long studies, labs running several arms at once and anyone who reorders the same compound often. Dry peptide keeps well in a freezer, so it makes sense to buy for the whole project at once and mix one vial at a time.
Work out the total you’ll need across every arm and time point, divide by the amount in one vial and add a spare. Then pick the pack that covers it. Each product page has a bulk pricing table with the exact price per vial.
Planning a study around bulk research peptides
A quick worked example. Say a study uses 2mg per time point, across three arms and twelve time points. That’s 72mg in total. With 10mg vials you’d need eight, so a 10-pack covers it with room for a repeat run, at 23% off.
Check the published protocols for your compound on PubMed before you settle the numbers, then size the pack from there.
Storing a bulk order
A 20-pack is a lot of vials to keep track of. Store them sealed in the freezer, in a closed box away from light, and only take out what you’ll mix in the next few weeks. Log the batch number from each label as you open it. Bulk research peptides only save money if none of them go to waste, and dry, frozen powder is the best way to make sure they don’t.
