What are nootropic peptides?

Semax and Selank come from the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow. Semax is built on a fragment of ACTH and is linked to BDNF in rodent work, while Selank is built on tuftsin and studied for anxiety through the GABA system. Our versions carry an acetyl cap and an amide end, which protect the chain from enzymes.

DSIP, delta sleep-inducing peptide, was isolated from rabbits in deep sleep in 1977. PE-22-28 is a shortened spadin analog that blocks the TREK-1 potassium channel, studied in rodent depression models.
