Description
The BPC-157 TB-500 blend from Polaris Peptides holds 10mg BPC-157 and 10mg TB-500, freeze-dried together in one vial. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
What the BPC-157 TB-500 blend contains
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.
TB-500: Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell, where it binds actin and helps control cell movement. TB-500 is the name used for synthetic thymosin beta-4 and for a short fragment of its active region.
BPC-157 and TB-500 are the two most studied repair peptides, and they work through different routes: BPC-157 through blood vessel growth and nitric oxide signaling, TB-500 through actin and cell movement.
The ratio is fixed at 10mg/10mg. Because everything is freeze-dried together, the ratio can’t drift the way it can when you mix separate vials. One reconstitution, one label, the same proportions in every draw.
How the BPC-157 TB-500 blend works
Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for BPC-157. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.
Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the building block of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.

Published BPC-157 TB-500 blend studies
Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.
Chang and colleagues reported in 2011 that BPC-157 raised growth hormone receptor expression in rat tendon fibroblasts. Controlled human data are very limited.
Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.
Bock-Marquette and colleagues reported in Nature (2004) that thymosin beta-4 improved heart cell survival after injury in mice.

How to reconstitute BPC-157 TB-500 blend
Concentration is the amount in the vial divided by the volume of water you add. With 20mg of powder in this vial:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 20mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 10mg/mL
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 6.67mg/mL
Pick the volume that keeps your own calculations simple, then write the concentration and the mixing date on the label.
Use sterile bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll the vial gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.
BPC-157 TB-500 blend storage and shelf life
Store sealed vials of BPC-157 TB-500 blend in the freezer at -20°C, out of direct light. Mixed solution goes in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and should be used within 28 days.
Let a frozen vial warm up to room temperature before you open it. Cold glass pulls moisture out of the air, and that moisture is what degrades dry peptide.
BPC-157 TB-500 blend purity and lab testing
We test BPC-157 TB-500 blend by HPLC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The first part measures purity and the second confirms the molecule is the right one. BPC-157 TB-500 blend tests at over 99% purity.
Each vial is vacuum-sealed straight after lyophilization, so the powder reaches you dry and protected from air.
If you run a long study, try to keep it on one batch and log the number from the label. It removes one variable from your results.
