Description
The GLOW blend 50mg from Polaris Peptides holds 35mg GHK-Cu, 10mg TB-500 and 5mg BPC-157, freeze-dried together in one vial. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
Inside the GLOW blend 50mg
GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.
TB-500: Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell, where it binds actin and helps control cell movement. TB-500 is the name used for synthetic thymosin beta-4 and for a short fragment of its active region.
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.
GLOW combines the copper peptide GHK-Cu with the two main repair peptides, aimed at skin and wound models.
GLOW 50 is made as 35mg GHK-Cu, 10mg TB-500 and 5mg BPC-157, which adds up to the 50mg on the label. Because everything is freeze-dried together, the ratio can’t drift the way it can when you mix separate vials. One reconstitution, one label, the same proportions in every draw.
Mechanisms behind the GLOW blend 50mg
GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and for antioxidant enzymes.
Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the building block of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.
Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for BPC-157. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.

GLOW blend research
Loren Pickart, who first isolated GHK in 1973, has published reviews of its effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies.
Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.
Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.
The primary literature is on PubMed. Here’s a search for GHK-Cu, TB-500 and BPC-157 studies to start from.
How GLOW blend 50mg is tested
Every batch of GLOW blend 50mg is checked by HPLC-MS. HPLC separates the sample and measures how much of it is the target compound, and mass spectrometry confirms the molecular weight, so one test covers both purity and identity. GLOW blend 50mg tests at over 99% purity.
After freeze-drying, each vial is vacuum-sealed. Keeping air and moisture out is what lets lyophilized peptide stay stable for months in a freezer.
Keep a record of the batch number on each label. Matching results to batches is the simplest way to rule out the material when an experiment doesn’t behave.
How to reconstitute GLOW blend 50mg
Here’s the math for 50mg of powder:
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 25mg/mL
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 16.67mg/mL
- 5mL of bacteriostatic water gives 10mg/mL
Pick the volume that keeps your own calculations simple, then write the concentration and the mixing date on the label.
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water, which has 0.9% benzyl alcohol to keep the vial clean between draws. Warm the sealed vial to room temperature, add the water slowly along the glass wall and swirl gently until it’s clear. Never shake it.
GLOW blend 50mg storage and shelf life
Freeze-dried GLOW blend 50mg handles room temperature fine during shipping, but for anything longer keep it in a freezer at -20°C, away from light. Once mixed, keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and use it within 28 days.
If you keep several vials going at once, store them upright in a closed box so they stay out of the light and don’t get knocked over every time the fridge opens.
